Aubrey Shapiro Ginn
With a B.S. in Integrated Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, Aubrey began her career as a Field Engineer for the company in 2013. She tracked the labor production of over 100 employees on one of Shapiro & Duncan’s largest mechanical projects, INOVA Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She then moved onto the role of Assistant Production Manager to improve project planning. It is in this role where she gained a greater understanding and appreciation for the work that skilled tradespeople perform on a day-to-day basis.
Aubrey climbed up the ladder as Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager, but she found the most satisfaction working with all departments as Systems Engineer. Her favorite parts of the job are finding ways to reduce waste, create leaner processes and integrate old and new programs to increase efficiency and performance.
